What to do in Jaen

This historic city preserves the charm of the towns, and its size allows you to visit the main attractions on foot, so you can enjoy its streets calmly and without haste. You can start at Saint Mary Square, where the main buildings of the city are located, such as the Town Hall and the Bishopric. Very close by, you will see the Cathedral of Jaen, one of the best architectural examples of the Renaissance.

To travel through history and learn about the Muslim footprints that remain in the city, we recommend visiting the Arab Baths of Jaen in the Villardompardo Palace. To complete the tour of monumental buildings, you can visit Saint Catherine Castle, a defensive construction where the governors lived during the Muslim era.
