Getting around Jaen

Jaen is a city of short distances, so it is ideal for exploring on foot, especially due to the many shops, squares, restaurants and beautiful heritage monuments along its streets and avenues.

The city has an efficient urban bus service with fixed schedules at strategic stops and with more than 20 lines that easily link all the neighbourhoods, especially places of great tourist attraction such as monuments, parks and squares.

Another option widely used by tourists and visitors is the many taxi lines, which are distributed along such tourist spots as St. Francis Square, Andalusia Avenue and Dean Mazas Square.

In addition, Jaen has guided tour services through which visitors can admire the heritage monuments and other places of great tourist attraction.

In recent years, there has been an increase in family motor homes moving around the city during the holidays and, thus, enjoying the warm climate of Jaen, as well as its many natural beauties. These motor homes are especially advantageous because they can park practically anywhere.
