The Iberian Museum of Jaen was inaugurated in December 2017. It is planned that this museum collects the objects of the Iberian period that are extracted from the different sites in the province of Jaen.
At present, we find the exhibition "The lady, the prince, the hero and the goddess", which is focused on characteristic characters of what Iberian society was, so that visitors can know what life was like among its inhabitants. Unfortunately, the museum still does not have all the pieces that will be exhibited in its permanent collections, so it is not 100% used.
The Iberian Museum also has a room dedicated to making visitors aware of the importance of avoiding archaeological plunder and respecting archaeological heritage.
Some of the exhibits belonged to the Museum of Jaen and others come from various sites, such as those of Cerrillo Blanco in Porcuna, Cástulo in Linares, Cerro del Pajarillo in Huelma and the burial chamber of Toya.
