The Convent of St. Clare is an important religious building whose history dates back to the 13th century. It was created with the goal of establishing a community of Poor Clare nuns in the city.

The convent church, in the Gothic style, was completed in the 14th century and is the highlight of the site. It has a Latin cross plan with a single nave and is built in stone, while its main façade has a sober and elegant design.

Inside, the Baroque altarpieces of its main altar, dating from the 18th century, stand out.
