Getting around Leon

Leon is a Spanish city maintained within the alignments of the European Community, in which cities must be more humanized and much more hospitable through green management. However, in the case of Leon, this is even more appropriate because its main places of interest are within walking distance and can be reached on foot.

This beautiful Castilian city also offers a range of possibilities so that visitors and tourists can enjoy a full experience through a modern network of 13 urban bus lines.
 
In addition, it has the famous tourist train that runs during July and August and covers the main tourist attractions of the city in just half an hour.

Another alternative is the efficient line of taxis distributed throughout the main central points of Leon. The taxis offer varied rates depending on the distance and the time.



Last but not least is the alternative of renting a bicycle at one of the four main points of the city: the Official School of Languages, the Town Hall, the Renewable Energy Interpretation Classroom and the Territorial Delegation of the Board of Castile and Leon.

This method of transport is promoted by the Leon City Council and has gained in popularity.
